Dr Martin Booyens qualified from the University of Pretoria in 1991 and holds a
Postgraduate Dental Diploma in Sedation and Pain Control.

Since 1997, he has worked extensively across the UK as a dental surgeon, providing oral surgery services in a wide range of settings.
Martin has developed particular expertise in the management of pain and anxiety in dentistry, with a strong focus on patient comfort and safety during complex procedures. He is a dedicated member of the dental community, actively involved in professional groups for dental anaesthetists and sedationists and continues to stay at the forefront of advances in sedation and anaesthesia.

Outside of dentistry, Martin is passionate about water sports and enjoys spending time in and around the ocean. His hobbies include snorkelling, scuba diving, windsurfing, and other aquatic activities that reflect his love of nature and adventure
