Cancellations Policy
Cancellations, Failed and Missed Appointments Policy
that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable, and we will always take emergencies and illness into consideration. However, late cancellations and missed appointments can prevent other patients from accessing timely care.
- Not attending your appointment.
- Arriving more than 20 minutes late.
- Cancelling with less than 48 hours’ notice.
After two failed appointments, you may be required to pay in full in advance to secure future bookings.
Practice Plan Patients
If you are on our in-house practice plan and fail to attend your appointment, you have two options:
- Pay the late cancellation/missed appointment charge of £50 and rebook the same appointment.
- Sacrifice that appointment as part of your plan and rebook your next exam or hygiene appointment as normal.
Cancellations due to illness
If you are showing symptoms of a stomach bug or a respiratory illness, including COVID, please let us know so we can rearrange your appointment for when you are feeling better. This also helps to keep our staff and other patients safe. The normal
cancellation period will not apply in these circumstances.
How to Cancel or Rearrange Your Appointment
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice using one of the following methods:
- Phone: Dersingham on 01485 544 545 or Ashwellthorpe on 07599 411 799
- Email: dersingham@jubileecourtdental.co.uk or ashwellthorpe@jubileecourtdental.co.uk
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. This policy ensures fair access
to appointments for all our patients.
